Tsavo East & Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo East and Tsavo West together form one of the largest wildlife reserves in the world, covering an impressive 13,000 square kilometers. Between them, they are home to nearly all of Kenya’s major wildlife species, including large herds of elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, giraffes, and more.
Tsavo East, one of Kenya’s oldest and biggest national parks, makes up around 40% of all land set aside for game parks in the country. Its vast, open landscapes and the famed red-dust elephants create a truly wild and untamed safari atmosphere.
Tsavo West, located about 200 km southeast of Nairobi, offers more varied terrain—rugged hills, lava flows, natural springs, and scenic viewpoints—making it ideal for adventurous travelers. Together, these parks provide a raw, authentic safari experience away from the crowds, ideal for those seeking space, solitude, and spectacular wildlife.
