Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is a hidden gem known for its striking landscapes and exceptional wildlife. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the seasonal Tarangire River, which attracts animals from across the region during the dry season. It offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti, including lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species.
Tarangire’s less-crowded atmosphere makes for an intimate safari experience, and its mix of open savannah, swamps, and woodlands provides varied and scenic game viewing. It’s especially rewarding between June and October, when the park becomes a magnet for wildlife in search of water. For those seeking a peaceful yet wildlife-rich safari, Tarangire is an unforgettable destination.
