Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda, is the country’s smallest savannah park but offers a rich wildlife experience in a compact area. Known for its zebra herds, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, and occasional leopards, the park features scenic landscapes of rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and the picturesque Lake Mburo. It’s the best place in Uganda for walking safaris, boat cruises, and even horseback safaris, offering a unique and intimate way to explore the wild. Its proximity to Kampala also makes it a convenient stop for shorter trips or en route to other parks.
